Double
Room
The first guest bedroom is west facing and enjoys a good
view over neighbouring farmland.
It offers a comfortable double bed (UK size), clothes hanging
space, mini hi-fi, hairdrier, tea & coffee making facilities,
ample drawer and cupboard space and has an electric radiator
for the winter. An electric pedestal fan can be provided
for the summer if required. There is also a small TV with
basic UK channels by satellite, and a DVD player. We have
a selection of DVDs and, of course, you can play any of
your own that you may have brought with you. |
 |
Twin Room
The second guest bedroom is slightly smaller. It offers
twin beds, and has an original (but non functional) fireplace
in the corner. The room has a modern electric radiator,
a stereo unit, drawer and cupboard space and a hanging rail.
Facing east, it gets the best of the morning sunshine but
is, in summer, cooler in the evenings. |
 |
Guest Bathroom
With toilet, shower, wash-basin and radiator/towel rail,
this small bathroom enjoys a westerly aspect and is not
overlooked.
A roller blind is fitted and can give additional assurance
of privacy if required.
It is also a superb point from which to observe the behaviour
of the small birds, as the tree housing their feeder and
a number of fat balls is less than five feet away. |

The Séjour
True to French custom the dining table is the centre of
the living area, armchairs and sofas being relegated to
the smaller area, and mostly used only for watching television
and for private relaxation.
The front door leads directly into the séjour. |
|
The outside
room
Double doors at the other end of the séjour lead out
to a decking area with a southerly and westerly aspect. This
area enjoys sunshine from about 11am until sunset and is a
great spot for a barbecue. |

 |
Under the
Roof
The attic conversion houses our private studies.
This area also currently contains a 21" colour television
with Playstation II and a range of games.
Also in this area is an internet connected PC available
for guests' use, and a number of board games and jigsaw
puzzles. Additionally, there is a folding bed and a camp
bed should they be needed.
There is just one smallish south-facing window in the room
(which makes it a bit dark), but the views from it are superb!
A west-facing Velux window is high on the wish list. |

The Baker's
Oven
The old bread oven room is currently undergoing conversion
into a day room (lounge cum games room) for guests' use.
It is intended that it will provide seating, TV with games
and satellite feed, DVD player and a stereo sound system.
